TVPad & TVB Agreement in the works ? US to resume normal shortly ?

Somebody on facebook had posted the following picture that had displayed on their TVPad. Basically saying TVPad and Dish they reached an agreement with DISH network and the TVPad service in US will resume back to normal operations in the up coming days.

The 2nd paragraph wrote TVPad also reached an agreement with TVB Australia.

Not sure if this is just a marketing tactics on TVPad part to retain customers or real… What are you thoughts ?

        Are you using a TVPad 3 and older version?

        • Polly Lai

          Yes, I have TVPad 2

        Tvpad 1-3 are dead. Look for HTV3. It’s the best system out now.

      A good friend of mine bought a TVPad 4 last year. It is running very well. He is extremely pleased with it. He says there are now even more channels available. I am getting a TVPad 4 myself.

    nope that is not only unlikely but that absolutely ridiculous; they have already been awarded a guaranteed $65 million judgement; this puts a hold on all liquid and illiquid assets that TVpad has both here and abroad;

    this basically and very effectively puts them out of business over night; also their website is down; another indication that no such agreement has been negotiated in advance or even authorized by the plaintiff parties that have brought suit against TVpad;

    now any violation of marketing and/or selling of TVpad devices on the internet, via internet mail, or any form of distribution worldwide will only result in even more substantial financial penalties called for in the original $385 million dollar amount called by the plaintiffs originally;

    there is also the matter of the three remaining lawsuits that are actually in the legal process of “discovery” currently; mind you the reason the California judge was able to get a judgement against TVpad because they were hampering the legal discovery process;

    in an blatent attempt to mitigate the finanical damages; they are currently doing that in the three remaining legal lawsuits also as well; which is fine they will be punished much more severely in the remaining three lawsuits to further their punitive punishment for thinking that they are clever enough to be “above the law”;

    in order to set and make an example for other future potential violators when they misrepresent themselves by stating something is legal when in fact it is not; in any way shape or form.

        That is correct, USA is not fit to judge anyone.

      Dennis Lee,

      Whatever you may say, TVPad has done a great of good and has provided a tremendous service for the worldwide Asian community. For the vast majority of mums and dads, we count our blessing and are thankful for TVPad.
      In contrast, you seem to be taking incredibly delight in seeing the challenge and the pain that TVPad is currently going through. How wicked and sadistic can anyone get? You are surely a fucked-up ass hole, a useless piece of shit and a miserable bastard son of a bitch!!

        No I am currently using HTV3 OTT set top box; I am not supporting TVPad after their most blatent customer service betrayal; if you don’t want to support your device and its customers that is just fine but don’t expect to not be blacklisted and branded with a “Do Not Buy” recommendation for life also as well; I am very happy with the current HTV3; as luck would have it I not only like it better but I have even more access to Asian TV channels than I ever had with TVPad 3; in fact I have over 133 channels in total; that is far more channels than I ever had with TVPad; TVPad is a cooked goose as far as anyone is concerned who has brought their TVPad device and left with a non-working box and out a very substantial amount of money; you can “fool me once but you can never fool me a second time around”; I have no loyalty to TVPad whatsoever and I certainly don’t recommend other TVPad users throw good money after bad trying to get their TVPad working; it has no official support and will likely never have any sort of customer service; while on the other hand my HTV3 box has full support and more Asian video channel programming than I can even hope to potentially view; I can also view American English language cable programming on it also as well like Discovery and HBO channels all for free using the HTV3 box; currently its legal and fully supported and under warranty and doing more than than any TVPad device ever did for me in any generation period; plus I have even American English cable tv programming on top of that making it an even sweeter deal to add icing on the cake also as well; and I like cake with icing very much and I am sure any former TVPad owner will appreciate the additional TV cable TV programming on both the English and Asian Chinese channels in particular all 133 channels of them!!

        • Dennis Lee

          I think TVPad is getting what it deserves no more and no less; I also think TVPad should feel the wrath of TVPad users who have been left holding the bag with a box that no longer works; the is both morally and ethically disgustingly reprehensible and demonstrates clear corporate malfeasance and that definitely should not be rewarded in any way shape or form whatsoever; there may be those who disagree which is fine; but I say vote with your wallet and/or pocketbook and blacklist TVPad for the corporate scumbags that they truly are!!

        “challange and the pain” TVPad is going through ? Are you kidding me? They are a business. They advertised “free tv for life” to customers of TVPad 1-3. What happened to that… Yea… they shut it down. Sounds like you are a TVPad employee from sound of your tone.
